hey just wondering if there is much to do around seattle washington airport. We have to stop off there for three days when we go home for leave. Any info would be great! Thanks 

Take a cab and go to the space needle. Just don't forget your camera. It's very pretty at night! The food there is not worth the money but it's still worth the visit :-) 

the aquarium. science fiction museum looks really cool. i didn't have time. :( 

There is nothing to do there except sit and cry. 

lol whatever mike!! how can you say that, youre from there for goodness sake! we just hit up the closest mall and babiesrus. DEF rent a car taxis are extremely expensive!! 

Space needle, coffee shops, bookstores, food, shopping, aquarium, museum....lots to do! 

Well if you have time and like classic cars or really rare cars there is the Lemay Museum in Tacoma. 

Experiance Music Project 

I heard loosers are from seattle and choose crappy football teams when they grow up. ;) Stay in the airport I'm sure there's a LOT more excitement in there! :D 

I am not from Seattle, lol, I was stationed there. 

I was stationed there for 4 years, anything you do in Seattle is expensive. But like others said, the museums are worth it, the aquarium down on the water front, the whole water front is a nice walk with lots of stuff to see. If you see a really ugly building by the Space Needle it's the Experience Music Project. You have to walk through Pike Place Market, don't rent a car because you'll spend a ton of money on parking. 

We took the bus (so scary!) from our hotel to around the Space Needle. It was expensive but a good experience. We were only there for a day thouhg.

You can visit my FIL and tell him I want the money he borrowed from me 3 years ago... and then shortly after, stop talking to us because he knew he had no intention on paying us. 

The bus was scary?  Riding on the bus was because it was a city bus with crazy people on it. We've both never been on a city bus before so it was an experience. 

Mt. Rainier Take a ferry on the Puget Sound Seattle Zoo or Tacoma Pt Defiance Zoo Seattle Center Pacific Science Center (Seattle) Seattle Aquarium Pikes Place Market~of course Dinner Train 

We ate at the space needle...for 4 of us to eat it costed over $200! But it was a once in a life time thing that we will never do again so I guess it was worth it :-) (the food was not that good though for future references if you have never ate there!) 

When we went we rented a car, and drove through the mountains. Also went over to Pike's Market, and did some shopping.

Enterprise car rental are good. You could also check orbitz or any of the car rentals out of the airport or possibly even the base (McChord or Ft. Lewis).
